Giving Day 2025
We are Wesleyan.
Our impact is greater when we endeavor together. On February 12, Wesleyan Giving Day 2025, we need your help. We have ambitious goals for financial aid, student belonging, first-generation student support, athletics, and more, but we can’t accomplish these goals without you. Every gift counts. Your participation will help us reach our donor goal—unlocking a transformative gift from a Wesleyan donor who understands the power of taking action as a community.
Let’s show our students what it means when we say, we are Wesleyan.
These are our priorities

Financial Aid + Access
This year’s financial aid budget exceeds $75 million, and the percentage of students on grant aid increased from 41% to 46% this year. Starting in the fall of 2024, Wesleyan no longer includes loans as part of its financial aid packages and will meet all students’ demonstrated financial need without the burden of borrowing. Your gifts to current-use financial aid will go to work immediately to support today’s students.

First-Generation Student Support
16% of our student body are the first in their families to go to college, which is the largest group we’ve had at Wesleyan. Your gift supports direct investments in the success of first-generation students – from cohort experiences and programs to tangible start-up support for things like laptops and dorm room essentials.

Student Life + Belonging
Regardless of identity, students should have a safe, equitable, and empowering experience at Wesleyan. Your gift to student belonging will fuel the programs that help students feel connected with each other and their community. It will support areas like cultural programming, social engagement and events, and resources around mental wellness and thriving.

Wesleyan’s Greatest Needs
Make an immediate impact with an unrestricted gift. A gift here provides support now to Wesleyan students and faculty, and also the flexible funding that allows the University to adapt, seize opportunities, and respond to the most pressing needs.
